Farm: Gedeo Region
Altitude: 3280 - 6560
Notes: Strawberry, Blackberry, Fig
This natural processed coffee is from the Gedeo Zone in Yirgacheffe. Grown at 6,000 feet, it’s high elevation causes the heirloom coffee to mature more slowly, developing more sugars and making a sweeter cup. These heirloom beans are descended from wild varietals that grew naturally in southwestern Ethiopia. Over time, they have been shaped by terroir and agricultural practices into highly sought after coffee harvests.
This light-medium roasted coffee features fresh aroma of Fiji apple and Rainier cherry. When brewed it has a smooth body, with fruity notes of strawberry, mango, and lavender, along with a clementine acidity and blackberry sweetness. The finish is rich, with notes of fig and Swiss chocolate.
