The Story

The “Gedeb” site is located in the fertile Gedio Zone in Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. Smallholder farmers there have joined the METAD Coop and benefit from extensive training in pre- and post-harvesting, producing high quality heirloom coffee. This coffee is Grade 1 sorted, the highest quality of Ethiopian coffee. Only the ripest cherries are picked and hand-sorted throughout processing to produce a lot with very few defects.

Coffee Notes

This lightly roasted coffee features a citric and honeysuckle aroma, round body, and bright acidity. When brewed it has notes of honeydew melon and lemonade with a honey sweetness, and gentle cardamom finish.
