The Sidama region is known for being the most productive for coffee growing in Ethiopia. This coffee is of excellent quality due to the ideal growing conditions of the region. High altitudes, rich soil, and mild temperatures allow the coffee to mature slowly, heightening the natural sweetness and acidity of the Ethiopian Heirloom varieties.
This lot of Sidama coffee has gone through the Traditional Washed process and screened Grade 1, highlighting it's bright and tropical fruit-like qualities.
This light-medium roasted coffee features a lychee and prune aroma. That lychee note is present in the brewed cup, which has a juicy body, pear-like sweetness, and red currant acidity. A hint of toasted coconut is found in the finish.
